Capitol Macintosh is a nonprofit organization founded in July of 1993 by Austin Macintosh professionals and enthusiasts to help fellow Mac users get more enjoyment and productivity from their Macintosh computers. Put simply, CapMac is friends helping friends learn about Macs.
The original 7 founders of Capitol Macintosh ranged from college students to a retiree and his teenage son. Within two years our membership soared to over 400 members. We are proud to say our diversity continues to this day: our 214 members span all ages and computer skill levels. We strive to make sure CapMac offers benefits to power users and novices alike, and everyone in between. We work to provide all our members with valuable learning experiences, helpful resources, and updates on emerging technology.
CapMac members share a passion for the wonderful machine that has brought such a positive influence to our lives. We welcome everyone no matter what their level of computer expertise. Our meetings are open to members and nonmembers alike. Please visit and see how CapMac can help you discover even more ways to enjoy your Macintosh!
