Tip

The following is a tip on how to make a screenshot using an assistive touch icon on your screen.  I use this feature when I'm watching a slide show in a zoom meeting and a slide appears with information that I want to keep, like links to different web pages, and I don't have time to write them down before the next slide appears.

1.  Open SETTINGS on your iPhone or iPad.

2.  Scroll down and select ACCESSIBILITY

3.  Scroll down and select TOUCH.

4.  On next screen, select ASSISTIVETOUCH.

5.  On next screen, turn on AssistiveTouch and then Select Customize Top Level Menu.

6.  On next screen, either select a box with a + in it or if you already have icons listed, click on the + to the right of the number of icons line and a larger box with a + in it will appear similar to the box in the photo that has Screenshot in it.  Click on the larger box.

7.  On the next screen, scroll down until you see Screenshot and select it and then select Done at the top of the screen.

The next screen should have a Screenshot icon listed.

You should now see a box with a white circle in it on your screen.

You can move this box around anywhere on your screen.  When you press this button on your screen, your device with take a screenshot.  However, if you have more than one icon you have set up in you Customized Top Level Menu, when you press the button, a box will pop us showing you all of the icons you have in this Customized Top Level Menu.  For example, I added Notification Center and Control Center.  So now when I press the button, I see the following options and can select any of them:
